Beefsteak Tomato

The Beefsteak tomato is one of the largest varieties of cultivated tomatoes. Some beefsteaks weigh a pound or more. Beefsteaks are not grown commercially as often as other tomato varieties, since they are not considered as suitable for mechanized harvesting like smaller slicing tomatoes.
